original blog enjoy

But I am a busy girl, what can I say. So here is a quick recap: Spent first days of Succos and Shabbos Chol Hamoed in Baltimore (in ny in between) which was a lot of fun. I miss the boys already (though I am hanging with two of them tom.). Then it was off to Simchaton which was awesome if not painful. Ok maybe a little of both. I took one of my favorite campers (having her for four summers gives her a special place in my heart) and although I love her to pieces she has become quite difficult to care for, not that I hold this against her but it did mean a few extra bruises for me. Besides that, it was wonderful, I love hanging out with my Hasc friends be them counslors or campers. I even got to meet some new counslors and campers who's first year was last summer, which was strange for me since I am used to knowing everyone. Lessons learned:
1) It is ok to look like a fool if you are doing your job
2) In Hasc I am known as a couple not a single (that would be me and my camper thank you very much)
3) Tabbo is for getting to know big crowds and Apples to Apples is for getting to know the person sitting next to you.
4) Sleep is overrated
5) Nicknames stick
6) Shabbos robes come in handy when you have to run before you can get dressed
7) If you forget to say taschlic you can always try for another yom kippur
8) All the good guys are dating, married, or gay (admit it you knew that would end up somewhere)
9) Being a fish can't be fun
10) baking cookies makes you popular
More when I get a moment. Till then have a great week children and stay warm.

    I love Apples to Apples!

Why can't being a fish be fun? Wouldn't you love to have a memory span of five seconds?
